Trequartista role made for Luiz as he returns from injury

Luiz

Luiz has returned early from his horrific leg injury straight into the heart of his clubs tactical revolution. Manager Philip Sinkins has handed the number 10 shirt to the young playmaker.

With the firing of Arthur Intelligence last week, the Loops have not only replaced him with Matchio Plansmann they have changed to a new tactical shape and Sinkins views Luiz as the trequartista his team needs to take the next step forward.

With the Loops currently struggling at 18th in the PEFA Premiership following their injury crisis, the return of their key players cannot come at a better time.

FrootLoops FC Head Physio on verge of leaving club

FrootLoops FC Head Physio on verge of leaving club

In a week that saw no fewer than 20 of the clubs players on the treatment bench, pressure is growing on the head physio at FrootLoops FC to stand down from his position.

7 of the first team players are out for around a week and the manager Philip Sinkins has been quick to refute claims that his extensive competition strategy is to blame.

“The team is playing exactly the same amount of fixtures as we do every season, yet I’m being blamed? I think you seriously have to question how that is possible”

Media outlets claim that a midseason break in Season 9 could hold the answers to the spate of injuries the club have received.

“Philip Sinkins goes on holiday and what does he think will happen, the players will just carry on as normal? The players thought the season was over early so their activity slowed and the players lost fitness, that’s why they’re picking up so many injuries!”

The FrootLoops FC Head Physio now appears to have been targeted by the club’s board and it’s likely that they will look to replace him at the end of the season.

UFFA.com Interview with Vladyslav Zuyevych

Vladyslav ZuyevychVladyslav Zuyevych is a more than familiar face in the Primetime Evening FA.

The Ukraine international began his career with Ill Skillz, where he spent 4 seasons between season 1 and 4. He played for Tyne and Wear Boys, Alderborough FC, Quashie’s Shooting School and then 3 seasons at Canon Fodder, before finally changing region in season 6 and joining Premier League heavyweights FrootLoops FC where he has been an integral part of the teams evolution into one of the St John regions top clubs. He is currently out injured for 1 week due to a fractured skull.

UFFA.com caught up with the forward for an exclusive interview.

UFFA.com: Vladyslav, having played in Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool, London and now Aberdeen, you have certainly seen and experienced much of what the St John region has to offer. What are your fondest memories thus far?
Vladyslav Zuyevych: I have very good memories from all the clubs I have played for. FrootLoops FC was obviously where I had the most success, but I have been very comfortable with all the clubs I have played for in St John and always given my all for every shirt.

UFFA: Two promoted clubs are certainly creating quite a stir at the moment; T-Bag Town and CFC FC. Are you surprised that these two clubs are able to hold their own with the top teams?
Vladyslav: If you look at how CFC FC have invested and how they operate, it’s no surprise. We’ve already played T-Bag town and I have to say that they do have some good footballers. I’m too far away to comment much on CFC FC, but basically there is always a surprise team or two every season in every league.

UFFA: Having played in both the Primetime Evening and the Xtreme Evening leagues, which is the stronger?
Vladyslav: The Xtreme Evening league is always described as the strongest league in St John. The tempo there is very high and everything goes incredibly quickly there. I think that the PEFA Premier League is also of a very high standard, and I’m very pleased to have been able to play here.

UFFA: You have scored less goals in Unofficial games, whereas you have a far better ratio in domestic Official football. Why have you not been able to carry over this success into the Unofficial arena?
Vladyslav: It’s down to the fact that I often play a deeper role and have to put in a lot of defensive work. Then there is also the different system that we sometimes play, but yes, I definitely need to score more goals in Unofficial games.

UFFA: How is the injury healing?
Vladyslav: I’m feeling alot better, i have some scans later this week but im hoping to return during the mid-season break to ensure the team retain their Premiership place.

UFFA: Back to the PEFA Premier League for one final question. What can the Loops achieve this year, and who do you think will win the league?
Vladyslav: We’ll try to make it into the Gold Cup places, but a lot of clubs who have spent a great deal more money than us have the same idea. There are three or four teams at the top who can do battle for the title. By my reckoning they are Raynes Park Rangers, T-Bag Town, CFC FC and maybe Worcester United

UFFA: Thank you for your time Vladyslav
Vladyslav: Always a pleasure

BREAKING NEWS: Arthur Intelligence leaves FrootLoops Football Club

Intelligence leaves FrootLoops Football Club

FrootLoops FC have released Offline Assistant manager Arthur Intelligence after 10 seasons service to the club.

Intelligence, a player with FrootLoops for 6 seasons, rejoined the club just over 10 seasons ago to work alongside Manager Philip Sinkins but has left Stade De FrootLoops with a year left on his contract.

A statement said:

“The club will not have the role of Offline Assistant manager next season, therefore Intelligence has been released from his contract at FrootLoops FC. The club would like to thank him for his contribution to the club and wish him the best of luck in his future career.”

FrootLoops finished third in the PEFA Premier League, a slight improvement on Season 8, Intelligence spoke of his frustration at being unable to influence the team and of his desire to regain a more prominent role in the team:

“It appears that I don’t figure in Philip Sinkins’s plans for next year”

“I came to the club as an experienced Inactivity coach and I found the role of Offline Assistant manager really frustrating.”

“I wasn’t able to influence the team as much as I would have liked due to my role. I really missed the responsibility and the challenge.”

Intelligence is set to be replaced at the end of this coming week by German Matchio Plansmann, an Offline Match Tactics expert currently employed at Beta FC in the Miller region

José: “I will never leave”

Jose InterviewFrootLoops FC attacking left-back José has stated that he has absolutely no intention of leaving the Grampian-based club, despite the media claiming he is too good to play for the Loops.

Having helped his team to a clean sheet against Bay Harbour Butchers at the weekend, leading to another victory in the process, the defensive dynamo commented on his future in a recent interview.

“An outstanding player? FrootLoops FC are a big team and needs to have champions,” José commented

“For me, it is an honour to be considered an outstanding player in this side. Yesterday, we won on a tough ground, and we were good all-round.

“As for me staying in Aberdeen for life, when you are in a society such as this, and live well in a city like this, it is difficult to leave”

“I have never felt more comfortable as I do now in Aberdeen, and I don’t see why people think i should leave.

FrootLoops FC’s season kicks off this week.

Luiz suffers broken leg, sidelined for 1-2 Weeks

Luiz InjuredFrootLoops FC’s Brazilian playmaker Luiz is refusing to blame Pavle Ninkov for the leg injury he suffered in his teams pre-season clash against Manchester United CF

His manager Philip Sinkins noted: “He nicked the ball away from somebody having a shot on goal. Unfortunately he got kicked and broke his fibula. Im hoping in the coming weeks that (Junior) Da Silva can step up and fill the void of Luiz’s place

The injury comes as a blow to the Loops as the midfield maestro had cemented himself as a key player for the club and will miss the first 2 of the 3 weeks in the PEFA Premier League campaign.

“The conclusion is that you don’t understand a thing, because all the questions are based on the result. This is not football. If we talk about the result, it was 2-1 to Lazio. If we are talking about the match, then we have to say one team played, the other was lucky.
